Press Information on MDD Adoption
With regard to the revised Medical Device Directive which has just been adopted by the Council, the proposal again failed to mitigate the risks of the unregulated reprocessing of medical devices. The Commission has therefore been requested by the European Parliament to submit an assessment report within the next three years, serving as a basis for proposals on a future regulation in Europe.
